16. Implement a standardized awards program, using company approved vendors. It is important to build tradition by using standardized company recognition.
17. Prepare an agenda and use it to properly conduct your meetings.
18. Prepare registration and organizational forms to help you conduct the business aspect of the school.
The Most Important Part of the School Is... “The Meeting After the Meeting”
• Make sure there are plenty of receptions and social events after the meetings to help you motivate and to build personal relationships.
• There is great magic in having all of the local attendees stay at the hotel to create the “Meeting after the Meeting.”
• Meetings after the Meetings provide your greatest opportunity for key “one-on-one” teaching, motivation and recognition.
Promote the School to Your Entire Team
• Announce dates and sites as far in advance as possible.
• Promote the event to your entire leadership team and have them promote it downline.
• Promote the event as one that every single associate simply cannot afford to miss, no matter who they are or where they are in the company.
• Challenge your Leaders to get their entire teams to participate in the Leadership Format Schools and recognize the teams bringing the most people.
