Companion Cavalry (Elite Warrior Leaders)
Alexander positioned himself at the head of this battle-winning shock force which would deliver the decisive strikes after initial contact had been made.
Heavy Cavalry (Next Generation Companion Cavalry)
The main body of heavily armored cavalry troops made up the main thrust of the battle campaign.
Phalangists (RMD System Builders)
The feared Greek super offensive weapon, the phalanx, consisted of men of considerable muscular strength who fought in the closest possible formation, shoulder-to-shoulder, armed with an 18-foot spear called a sarissa.
Light Cavalry (Field Builders)
Men selected from neighboring countries for advance scouting missions.
Foot Companions (Constant Flow of New Associates)
Provided solidity to the line of battle to withstand the shock shield while the decisive strikes were being made elsewhere.
Specialist Troops (Loan Coordinators & Real Estate Specialists)
Strategic force that included archers, siege artillery men, engineers, surveyors, supply and transport service men.
Siege Engineers (Headquarters Executive Support Team)
Responsible for planning and executing penetration and destruction of enemy fortresses or other enemy fortifications.
Mercenaries (Product Provider Support Team)
Men recruited from non-Greek countries who believed in the mercenary ethic where professional pride and sheer force of habit worked to keep them in place.
Shield Bearers (Field Support Staff)
Alexander’s personal force whose responsibilities included carrying his shield into battle and freeing up Alexander and his key leaders to focus their energies on the decisive points.
