Licensed Associate
All licensed associates must follow all of the sales compliance procedures of an unlicensed associate plus many more.
DO:
• Once fully licensed, only accept compensation from the following: 1. Commissions on personal production
2. Overrides on downline production.
• "Know Your Customer" and only market products that are suitable to them. The more thorough an understanding you have of the customer and the customers goals, the better the likelihood of a high level of customer satisfaction. Collect as much information from the customer as possible. The HGI DIME+, Two (2) Circle presentation, and approved data gathering documents assist the associate in developing a customized financial strategy to meet the short- and long-term needs of the customer.

• Properly identify yourself to consumers and the public with respect to the product or opportunity you are marketing.

DO NOT
• Discuss, market or solicit any product that is not offered through or approved by the HGI Compliance Department. Such activity could be construed as participating in an unapproved transaction.
• "Bait-And-Switch" — sell what you illustrate.
• Sign as second agent unless you bring a "value added" service to the sale. Your upline Marketing Director is already compensated through overrides for assisting and training all downline associates.
• Distribute unapproved marketing/recruiting material.
• Communicate directly with any regulatory agency (NASD, SEC, Insurance Departments, Securities Departments, etc.). Never initiate any correspondence or communication.
Licensing Requirements
Agent licensing requirements for various products are listed below.
1. Fixed Insurance: You must have insurance license(s) with the State Insurance Department and must be appointed with the product provider.
2. Variable Products: As of this date HGI does not offer variable products.
3. Investment Advisory Products: You must be a registered investment advisory rep with any RIA that HGI is affiliated with now and in the future.
