HGI Advertising
Director of Motivation
Advertising can add to the success of your business. It can help expand and spread the message. Although it will never replace the one-on-one contact that results in true production and building, advertising can be of assistance. Hegemon Group International has developed ads that will help build your business. Guidelines for using the ads are listed below, more details are available on the website.
All advertising/sales material that is not provided by HGI or its Product Provider companies, must be approved by the Company's Compliance Department prior to use. There are no exceptions to this policy. It is the HGI Associate's responsibility in the first instance to ensure that all advertising/sales material generated by the HGI Associate meets all applicable standards. The Company reviews each piece of advertising/sales material and gives final written approval for its use. During its review, the Company scrutinizes the material to ensure, among other things, that it:
- Complies with applicable laws and regulations;
- Is truthful, accurate and not misleading;
- Discloses material aspects of the product;
- Is clear and understandable in light of the complexity of the product; and - Avoids suspect terminology, exaggeration and unfair comparisons.
HGI and its product providers already make available a vast array of Advertising and Sales Materials. All HGI Associates are strongly encouraged to use such approved and compliant materials. We do realize, from time to time, that business exceptions must be made, but any deviation must be approved by HGI’s Compliance Department.
Any HGI Associates under the Regional Marketing Director (RMD) position are prohibited from changing, altering or creating Advertising/Sales Material of any kind. The HGI RMD is responsible for all Advertising/ Sales Material that is used in his/her downline organization.
If an RMD HGI Associate writes new advertising/sales material or wants to change the content or the format of approved material, regardless of its origin, then the proposed material must be submitted to the HGI Compliance Department for approval at least 10 business days prior to use.
Approval of any advertising/sales material submitted by HGI Associates is valid for the time period specified by the Company. Continued use of such approved materials requires that a new request be submitted to the Company.
The HGI Compliance Department and RMD field representatives will be checking social media sites to verify compliance with HGI’s advertising policy.
