  Builders Mindset
The Psychology of Hubert’s Building System (Continued)
33. Seize Their Imagination/Fuel Their Dreams
34. Press On
Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not. Nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not. Unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education alone will not. The world is full of educated derelicts. PERSISTENCE and DETERMINATION ALONE are OMNIPOTENT.
35. Recruit to Build vs. Recruit to Sell
36. Example of Growing Grass or Killing Weeds
37. The Habit of Persistence from Think and Grow Rich Use these four steps to develop persistence:
— A definite purpose backed by a burning desire for its fulfillment
— A definite plan, expressed in continuous action
— A mind closed tightly against all negative and discouraging influences, including
negative suggestions of relatives, friends and acquaintances
— A friendly alliance with one or more persons who will encourage one to follow
through with both plan and purpose
38. Mastermind Alliance
Batteries hooked up in series are stronger than any one battery.
39. Keep the Main Thing the Main Thing
40. Three Obstacles to Spontaneous Recruiting:
— Leaders don’t sell the big-time opportunity of having large multiples of people to override. — First emphasis with a new recruit is to “Field Train” vs. “Get him/her 3 new recruits.”
— They focus on possibly making $1,000 or more on a sale vs. getting a recruit decision first.
41. Focus on Recruiting and Sales Will Come
— Aim at recruits/Hit sales.
— Sell to those you recruit/Sell to those you don’t recruit.
