The Magic of the Match-Up System
The Match-Up System is the key to your ability to continue to get wide with new direct leaders. The tendency of some leaders is to not hire too many new associates because they feel they won’t have the time necessary to get in the field and effectively work with them. The Match-Up System solves this dilemma by allowing you to “match-up” your new associates with other licensed leaders to help get the job done.
Match-Up Power Principles
• Allows every new associate to get in the field within 24 to 48 hours with an experienced leader
• Helps retain your existing team by allowing them to make money field training new associates
• Increases activity for the whole organization
• Generates points for promotions
• Provides needed experience for all associates — “old” and “new”
• Helps to avoid a small-thinking mentality
• 50% of something is better than 100% of nothing
• Builds leaders
There are three ways to Match-Up:
1. Internal - within your base shop
2. Internal Hierarchy - with other leaders on your team
3. Inter-Hierarchy - with other leaders in HGI
Match-up experienced leaders with new, unlicensed associates. The two most important titles in HGI are:
• Field Trainer
• Dynasty Builder
Match-Up Rules and Guidelines
1. Everybody must have uniform presentations - duplicable, easy, approved with a total focus on suitability.
2. Must agree to automatically recruit after the sale at all times.
3. Must have a trainer’s code. Don’t show or communicate any disrespect for other trainers.
4. Split 50/50 - All Match-Up sales are split 50/50 between the recruiter and the field trainer. The trainee also receives
education, training & professional development.
5. Trainer must communicate with trainee prior to appointment - reconfirm appointment and pre-qualify client.
6. Both recruiter/leader and field trainer must coach trainee on dos and don’ts during presentation. A trainee cannot
participate in the discussion or presentation of the products offered by HGI.
7. Do not cancel an appointment with trainee or client under any circumstances - trainer must fulfill obligation or make
arrangements for another trainer.
8. Always send field trainer to solid appointments.
9. If you use inter-hierarchy, inform them of rules and guidelines and get an agreement first.
