Hegemon Group International is pleased to provide this training manual to you, as an independent contractor and associate of this company. As you know, Hegemon Group International, in conjunction with other companies, makes products available to you, for sale to the public. Although there are various sales position designations among Hegemon Group International’s sales force, product inventory is not distributed or sold to Hegemon Group International’s sales force. In addition, independent contractors are not required to purchase any products, goods, services, inventory, marketing plan or property of any kind, or pay any consideration in exchange for becoming an independent contractor and associate of this company. However, all new independent contractors have to pay an administrative service fee to cover the costs of processing your application, performing background checks, coordinating the salesperson paperwork, etc. Finally, the compensation you will earn, if any, will depend solely upon your personal efforts, and hard work. While many people have experienced successful careers within Hegemon Group International, this success represents individual associate member experiences. As each individual differs, so will his/her specific results. Work ethic patterns, activity levels and dedication all play significant roles in determining the outcome that one may achieve and in his/her ability to control his/her destiny on an ongoing basis. This statement is not intended to nor does it represent that any current mem- ber’s individual results are representative of what all participants achieve when following the Hegemon Group International system. There is no compensation or consideration earned by independent contractors in exchange for encouraging others to join Hegemon Group International’s sales force.
Hegemon Group International is not a franchise operation. We simply provide the master copy of a proven system for you to duplicate. Again, you are an independent contractor in business for yourself. The ideas and guidelines expressed in this manual are not mandatory, but are merely suggestions based on what has worked in the past. You have the freedom to build your business within the framework of your contractual agreement with Hegemon Group International and its affiliated companies. However, always remember that alignment creates velocity. Hegemon Group International is built upon the “Team Over Me” principle, and there is great synergy in people moving together.
We are proud of this training manual and make it available to you for educational and training purposes only. Illustrations in the manual of how recruiting others to join Hegemon Group International’s sales force can affect commissions of independent contractors and associates are not a representation of past or projected future earnings of independent contractors.
No statement, illustration, graph or other representation in the training manual is intended to form a contractual agreement or to modify or to supplement any existing contractual agreement between Hegemon Group International and you. The terms and provisions of any contractual agreements between you and Hegemon Group International and commission rates are found in the HGI Associate Membership Agreement and any other addendums thereto.
